Mr Sunil Tatkare On Women Empowerment Through A Reservation Process

Women empowerment has been always an important marketing agenda for many political parties but when actually these parties’ rule through the government, how many of them take the decisions to achieve women empowerment in the country? The Nationalist Congress Party is one of the political parties from Maharashtra, which always wanted enforcement for the women empowerment in Maharashtra state.

The NCP Chairman, Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar is always recognised for his initiatives to achieve women empowerment and woman development in the state. He always insisted on the women reservation in services, education, and politics. He is the senior leader of NCP and has a great understanding of the problems of the Konkan region. He also has a broad development vision for Raigad district people and he is always concerned for women empowerment in the district.

Mr Sunil Tatkare always tried for empowerment and betterment of women. He also tried to resolve the basic problems of Konkan region women such as the availability of drinking water, education facilities to the girls and the participation of women in politics. He believes that women participation in the governance process is necessary to better understand and get insights on women’s problems and better solutions can be provided for those issues. Participation in politics also gives women the empowered feeling and platform to raise and resolve different issues. Due to his initiatives for women empowerment, many Konkan region women are included in active politics in the Raigad district. It is also helpful to align the thought process and developmental works for women-oriented problems.
