Wise Decision of Forming Alliance with Peasants and Worker’s Party

In 2019 election results, the NCP couldn’t get the success as per the expectations, but the NCP leader Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare created history by defeating a senior member of Shiv Sena Mr. Anant Geete. There are many reasons behind his grand success, including his commitment to social work, social connections, inactive leadership of Mr. Anant Geete, his efforts for different community’s betterment, etc. The way was not simple for Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare; he got the opportunity as a Member of Parliament because of his hard work and efforts during his entire political career.

Raigad constituency is comprised of Raigad district and Dapoli and Guhagar Talukas of the Ratnagiri district. Major competitors and a big challenge for Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare was the Shiv Sena leader and Central Heavy Industry Minister Mr. Anant Geete. Mr. Anant Geete has been the Member of Parliament for Raigad constituency since the last 6 terms. In this tough situation, the decision of NCP to join with the Peasants and Worker’s Party was a strategic decision and due to this decision, NCP got the support of the Kunbi community. Ratnagiri District’s Dapoli and Guhagar Talukas have a considerable population of Kunbi community. This wise decision of making an alliance with the Peasants and Worker’s Party turned the political equations in the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency. The Peasants and Worker’s Party leader and MLA Mr. Jayant Patil fulfilled his promises and worked hard for the success of Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare.

Earlier Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare had to face many challenges due to the district level politics when the relationship between Peasants and Worker’s Party and NCP was not pretty good. Now the NCP and Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare got the support of Peasants and Worker’s Party and the Kunbi community. Honorable Mr. Sunil Tatkare has got the opportunity to work as a Member of Parliament and he can resolve different pending issues of Konkan area, including four-lane of Mumbai-Goa highway, railway service on Pen-Alibaug route, issues of labors, the water transportation system in Konkan, etc.

MLA Mr. Bhaskar Jadhav also helped and contributed to the success of Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare. Due to his efforts, Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare could get a substantial lead in Guhagar region. Honorable Mr. Sunil Tatkare got benefitted due to Ratnagiri district’s Taluka lead. Internal political conditions in Ratnagiri district, unhappiness about Mr. Anant Geete, no cordial relations between the BJP activists and Mr. Anant Geete are the points which helped Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare.

Honorable Mr. Sunil Tatkare has achieved the position of Member of Parliament; it was a great challenge for him. This is also an outstanding opportunity for him to strengthen his political career as well as the position of the NCP in the Konkan region. He has tremendous work scope in the Konkan region and can contribute to numerous pending issues of Konkan area. Next 5 years will be a great platform for Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare to prove his efficiency as a true leader with his hard work, talent, and social responsiveness.
