Party Workers union At Unhavare, Dabhol

2019 elections are coming soon, and different political parties are engaged in election campaigns these days. The NCP and Congress are also busy with the election campaign in the form of public meetings, party activist’s unions, and rallies. Recently Party Workers union was organized at Unhavare, Dabhol. During this event, Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare said that Mr. Anant Geete has never contributed to the betterment and development of Konkan and he did not raise any funds other than the Member of Parliament fund for this constituency.

Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare said that Mr. Anant Geete was supposed to bring a factory in the constituency, but according to Mr. Anant Geete, Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi Ji opposed to this project and he could not bring the project. I appeal to Mr. Annat Geete, to reveal this fact in the public meeting. If he dares to do this, I will not participate in the upcoming election.

Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare further said that electric current supply is interrupted due to BSNL pending bills. Many villages in Dapoli Tehsil are affected. Telephone exchange and towers in Dapoli Taluka are harmed due to this. Mr. Anant Geete has been the Member of Parliament for 30 years and Central Minister for 10 years, but he couldn’t do anything on this. How will he achieve the district development in next 5 years?

Honorable Mr. Sunil Tatkare said that Mr. Anant Geete has been the Member of Parliament and the Central Minister and he is attending the events such as road inauguration or hundred meters road construction at Vavghar, Unhavare, etc. This type of work is expected from Gram Panchayat or Panchayat Samiti member. Isn’t it unfortunate that the Central Minister is attending these types of events? It indicates that he has lost his confidence.

Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare also said that Mr Geete has declared that he will distribute cardiac ambulance to every Taluka. After 4 years, just before the next election, he distributed few of the ambulance at Alibaug which were very basic and distributed through CSR fund. He has always cheated people with fake promises. He was also supposed to bring industrial projects in the district, but no luck on it yet. He has never raised any other funds for the constituency except the Member of Parliament funds. In 2015, he declared in Dapoli Navbharat Chhatralay that he will avail Agricultural Tourism Centre and Health Centre. Its the time for the next election now and no such centres has been opened yet.

Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare added that when I was the Finance Minister for the state, I contributed with 50% funds for the Konkan region development. I started the projects such as bridge constructions, integrated colonies when I was the Guardian Minister for Ratnagiri District. If I get a single opportunity, I will avail different funds and schemes of the Central government for our constituency.

It was a direct attack of Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare on Mr. Anant Geete’s inactive leadership. People also have noticed the inactive leadership of Mr. Anant Geete. On the other hand, Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare has always struggled for the development of Konkan. He definitely deserves the opportunity to become a member of the parliament in order to expand the horizon of development in the Konkan region
