The two of them received almost 7000 votes. In this negative situation also, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare gave a tough fight to Mr Anant Geete and reduced his vote lead from 1 Lakh to just 2000 votes. This reduced vote lead was an alarming signal to Shiv Sena and Mr Anant Geete and it was a positive sign for Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare.

2019 Lok Sabha election will be an opportunity to Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare and his team. Therefore, when his name was stamped as the NCP candidate for Raigad constituency, his supporters, party activists and followers celebrated the occasion and decided to win the election and to make their beloved leader, the new Member of Parliament. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare has always tried for the betterment of the masses. He has cordial and friendly relation with different party workers. When one of the party workers requested him to visit his home, he travelled by Auto Rickshaw and visited his home.
